THIS IS THE ONE! This painting that commemorated the 150th year of the Texas Ranger is the classic that put Joe Grandee in the US Capitol. He became the first Western Artist to display in the US Capitol by invitation from President Richard M. Nixon. The original is located in the Nixon Museum in California. Prints are also displayed in the Texas Ranger Museum in Waco, Texas as well as in the LBJ Library in Austin, Texas.
